Features and capabilities of the Content Bridge extension
Content Bridge is an Extension that brings the latest updates from external sources into your Studio.
With Content Bridge, you can easily publish data from various sources like your CMS, APIs, and other feeds directly into Studio.
The service fetches the data regularly and creates new elements in Studio via the Control API, so you can always stay up-to-date with the latest information without any manual effort.
Monterosa builds Connectors for Enterprise customers as part of platform implementation. For customers on other plans, you can leverage existing connectors or build your own using the Control API.
Opta Connector
We're excited to announce that a new API connector is now available for clients using Content Bridge. The connector uses an Opta football data feed to provide live match commentary of recorded match actions such as a goal, foul, yellow card, and more.
With the help of this connector, we've automated the creation of four types of elements for live match commentary: generic match event, goal, substitution, and time event. These elements are automatically populated with data from the feed, including a description, player name, team, match time, and more.
Recently, we've made some significant improvements to the frontend, giving you more control over what match actions trigger element creation. This means you can configure the system to create elements only for the match actions that matter most to you, providing a more personalized live match experience for your audience.
Additionally, we've automated the event creation process so that all matches have events created for them within a project with the relevant setup data. This automation means that no interaction is necessary for a match to be created as an event and commentary to be provided. All matches for the team or competition in question are created in advance.
