# Voting

Votes in the Fan Companion vote tab are managed in **Monterosa / Interaction Cloud™**. The life cycle of a vote is reflected in these different states in the app:

* Closed: displays when the voter is registered but no vote is open
* Open: can be configured to operate four different voting types
* Confirm: asks users to confirm their vote during the vote window in order to submit it successfully

Fan Companion supports four different voting scenarios as standard, described in detail in the [Voting Types](https://products.monterosa.co/fancompanion/feature-index/voting-1/voting-ui) section.

Different types of [voter registration](https://products.monterosa.co/fancompanion/feature-index/voting-1/registration) are available, chosen based on the security model needed for your use case. [Vote security](https://products.monterosa.co/fancompanion/feature-index/voting-1/vote-security) is further supported by the platform Vote Certification.

**Image Guidance:** Exact pixel dimensions are for maximum guidance only (00 x 00px), media must be the correct ratio size to avoid being cut or distorted (0:0). For example, 16:9 is equivalent to 32 x 18px and 64 x 36px. Media must be under the recommended file weights to avoid lengthy download times (Max 000kb).
