Leaderboards provide a snapshot of the competitive game, allowing players to see where they stand versus the rest of the world. Within the Points Store, players can exchange points for extra lives, helping them win more.
Weekly and All time leaderboards summarise the best players and incentivise competitiveness. Leaderboards can be toggled to show points or cash prizes.
Once passed a configurable threshold, a user can cash out their rewards, using Paypal.

Extra lives give users a way to stay in the game if they get a question wrong. They're a great way to keep people engaged and give them longer before they are eliminated. Extra lives can be used on questions where they have been enabled.
