Feature Description

Scheduling & Countdowns

Within Studio you can schedule events (i.e. games). When a new event is scheduled, the lobby state updates immediately to show the upcoming event. If the event is starting within a pre-defined time threshold, it will display a countdown clock. If the event is further away, it will display a date and time.

Prize

Every game can have a cash prize specified. This can be changed easily so that some games attract a larger cash prize than others. The prize is automatically divided between all winners at the end of the game.

Play for fun

An optional feature that lets eliminated users keep playing along, they won't be able to win any longer, but can still be awarded points for answering correctly.

Q&A

Can I schedule multiple events? Yes, Gameshow Live will only display the next one to the user, leaving you the freedom of organising ahead.

Do I have to use any API or third parties for streaming? No, you can access Studio from a browser and can stream directly in RTMP protocol from the software of your choice. For example, the free video streaming application OBS works well.

How long a show should last? Shows typically last 15-20 minutes. Show streams need to be started ahead of time, we recommend 10 mins as a minimum. There is no upper limit to these guide numbers.
