How points are gained and how they are spent
Not everyone can win cash, but they can win points.
Points are a low value reward and a virtual currency in game. They are easily rewarded for simple actions. The most common way to win them is simply to answer questions. Even eliminated players can win points, the goal being to reward participation and keep the user entertained throughout.
Attribution
Daily bonus - every day a points reward can be set for returning players. This reinforces daily user retention
On-Demand Quiz - points are the reward for players who play On-Demand Quiz games
Live Game - during live game, correct answers may be rewarded points, and correct answers in play for fun mode may also be rewarded a different amount of points
Usage
Leaderboards - Points are used in leaderboards as a way to rank who earned the most, generally showing the most active members
Store - Points can be spent to purchase extra lives in the store
Extra life packs - choose which packs are for 'sale' in the store as well as their prices
