Extra lives keep people playing and extend engagement times
Extra Lives let a user stay in the game and potentially claim the prize, even if they get a question wrong.
Extra lives are awarded to players for:
Inviting a friend to the game (both users get an extra life)
Reactivating push notifications
Answering correctly to an extremely difficult question
Special events and actions
Goodwill gesture from support

How it works
During a game, when a user is eliminated for answering incorrectly to a question, they will be asked for a short period of 5 seconds if they want to use an extra life to stay in the game, since the game is live, they need to act fast or they will be eliminated for good.
Friend referral program
The friend referral system allows users to win extra lives by inviting their friends to play the game.
Each user is attributed a unique referral code that they can share with their friends and family or over social media.
When a new user registers, they can then visit their own referral program page, and key in the code of their friend, which will give them both an extra life.
Studio contains an option to let users know, on login, when other users activates their code.
