The gameplay of your show

The Gameshow Live gameplay is based on a simple set of principles and mechanics, they include: live events, multiple-choice quiz and poll questions, a live timer, points, elimination, leaderboards, prizes for winners and a store where you can buy extra lives with your points.

As the content producer, you can choose the duration of your show and the nature of each of the questions asked. As users progress through the show, they accumulate points. Those who get a question wrong, are eliminated but can still play for fun.

Gameplay states:

Video countdown

The game starts with a countdown of 2-5 minutes in the video window which gives players time to prepare for the game and lets your audience grow before the game starts.

Video host

Your video host welcomes players to the game and takes them through the rules, explaining how questions, power-ups and extra lives can be used, and the prizes they can win.

Question

Questions appear in the app as the host reads them out, and players have a limited time to answer, shown in the on-screen timer. The host video can also be minimised to appear in this screen.

Reveal

The host recaps the question and possible answer options and then reveals the correct answer, at the same time as the on-screen reveal shows how all players did on that question.

Elimination

Most players don't answer all questions correctly, so they will meet this screen at some point - they are no longer playing for prizes but can continue to play the game for fun.

Results

Winners and the prizes they won are shown on the results screen at the end of the game.

The gameplay is highly configurable for your format, and can be adjusted to set:

• Question and answer options (2-4 options), and correct answer

• Question timer duration

• Quiz question or Bonus Vote Question (a vote has no correct answer)

• Points on offer

• Extra life on offer (y/n)

• Power-ups on offer (y/n)

• Reveal final game results (y/n)
