App Store Reviews

Improve your app store ratings by asking for reviews at the right time

Driving app store ratings and review up.

To maximise App Store ratings, reviews are prompted only on the most favourable moment: the end of the game. This does not guarantee positive ratings, but it does ensure that players have experienced a full game before providing a rating or review.

How it works

Asking to rate the application at the end of a game brings several advantages, as if the user played through a whole game he is fully engaged. Unhappy users are unlikely to stay until the end of the game. Only winners and happy and engaged users will stay till the very end.

The app then prompts users with a configurable frequency at the end of a game. A popup asks the user if they would like to rate the app in the Appstore or Google Play. Users can rate, decline or opt to rate later (in which case they will be prompted again after another game subject to frequency settings).

Frequency setting

The frequency setting is defined as a random chance to be prompted with the rate the app popup. This allows, on mass media, for an evenly spread sample of the audience and helps avoid eroding the whole user base engagement.
