FanKit is going through an evolution. Applications built with older versions of FanKit may need to be upgraded. Please contact your account manager if you wish to discuss availability and access.
FanKit powers real-time web apps designed for interactive audience engagement use cases. It is the primary front-end framework used to power Monterosa Experiences.
It is a responsive web app built with React, designed to be integrated into existing websites and native apps. It features a range of real-time interactive Elements, the building blocks of each Experience.
FanKit has a rich set of creative options, configuration and timing settings. Almost every option can be configured dynamically within Monterosa / Studio without code. Every Element can be triggered in real-time by a human, clock time or API/feed trigger.
Not all users of the platform need to know about FanKit but if you're extending, configuring or generally trying to manipulate existing Experiences or create new ones, these docs are for you.
FanKit apps can be run straight from the URL provided by Studio or can be embedded using the SDK. The common first step is to retrieve your URL or Embed Codes as illustrated below.
To get an iframe embed code, you need to navigate to the event timeline that you want to access. At the top of the page, you can find the Embed link. Clicking it will show up a modal of available embed URLs. You can find more information on Embedding here.
Project URL - direct web URL. You can use this to always link to the latest active event in the project
