Seamlessly integrate Google ads into your Experience.

Where do Google Ads display?

There are two areas Google Ads can be displayed in an Experience:

  • Above, below or between Elements in an Event feed

  • Within an Element

How do I set up Google Ads?

First you'll need to add your Google Ads to the App Settings of your project, inside your Project go to App Settings > Google Ad Manager

Settings

Unit path

The unit path denotes the unit code generated by the ad tag published in the Ad management tool, typically following the format: /1234/TOP_CENTRAL_AD.

Position

Control if the ad appears at the top, bottom, or repeating throughout the Event feed. Can be left blank if only used inside an element.

Google ad ID

This unique identifier facilitates matching with the corresponding 'Google ad ID' field in the element creation modal.

Display after every N elements

This feature is particularly relevant for recurring adverts, allowing precise control over advertisement placement within a Event feed.

Default slot size width

Specifies the default width to be applied to the ad.

Default slot size height

Indicates the default height to be applied to the ad.

Size mapping

Specify sizes such as Viewport Width, Viewport Height, Slot Width, and Slot Height.

Targeting

Offers ID and value fields to refine and optimise ad targeting.

Container ID

Assigns a specific ID to the component for enhanced management and identification within the application.

Display within an Event feed

To display within an Event feed go to App Settings > Converters > Google Ads

Display within Element

To display within an Element go to [Element] > General Settings > Google ad ID

Specify the Google ad ID you entered in the App settings
